Fourteen Observations of Good Scrum Practice Carlton E Nettleton Books Reviews
Had the opportunity to attend a CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) class taught by the author of this book, Carlton Nettleton. He has a strong Scrum knowledge base which is well depicted in his book. I recommend this guide for all those Scrum Masters and Product Owners to keep in their back pocket.
Carlton brings his knack for extracting the essence of a concept and explaining it concisely and clearly, to his book "14 Observations of Good Scrum Practice". The book is organized for easy access to the new Scrum practitioner, defining and laying out the essential Scrum practices and roles that are at the core of a successful Scrum practice. One of the most important takeaways for me, from attending Carlton's "Introduction to Scrum" class and from the book, is the diamond diagram on page 30, which elegantly describes the dynamic tension and interplay of the ScrumMaster, Product Owner, Team, and Stakeholders, highlighting the integral role of Stakeholders in the Scrum process. Carlton's "14 Observations..." is a great companion for getting to know Scrum.
Great guide to help you with your SCRUM practices. So many people think of scrum is the lightest, no-document version of SDLC and turn their dev efforts into chaos. This book can help you organize your chaos.
